I sincerely hope that you will avoid presenting the game's story content as image files.
While you may not have anticipated visitors whose first language isn't English,
providing selectable text would allow us to use translation tools to better understand the story, making the experience much more accessible.

download link is slow and after 20min it fails
Have you tried downloading it through the itch.io app? That usually helps overcome those issues in my experience. It is a safer way to download larger games than it is through a browser. And I say this as someone that is regularly forced to put up with a terribly unstable internet connection.
